I took a Peek at my husbands newsletter this morning. You caught my interest with making prayer shawls and lap robes. I'd love to help out. I knit, crochet and Sew. Is there a specific pattern that you use?

I finally talked to Sarah today from VA Beach. She is alive and well. She hid from the storm by going on vacation to St Martens.
She did say that upon return last night that they had not recieved any damages.
So now I can check her off my worry list. Still have not heard from the rest of you in New Jersey, New York and all other Eastern states that were hurt by the storm.
"Jersey Girl" i'm waiting to hear from you.

Hey Everyone!!
Just wanted to tell everyone that for me, this has been the best reunion I've been to yet. So thankful and grateful for every single person there. Everyone made such a difference and I just wanted to say thanks to all so they know they made one,at least for me.

We have a little over 130 cookbooks available to sell. They can be ordered from me and cost; book $15 each plus $5 for shipping and handling.

We MUST sell them in order to have a new product next year. So let's get them sold!

Ladies,

Just a reminder to all of you that we will NOT be taking any advance orders for the cookbooks NOR will be mailing any to anyone. They are going to be sold at the reunion ONLY!!
IF after the reunion we still have a few left we will accept orders on a first come - first serve basis. They will however be an additional $5 PER BOOK to cover shipping.
So if you are unable to be at the reunion, you might want to have someone who is attending pick yours up for you.

Hi Everyone.

Okay, so here's the trick tonight. I'm trying to do this and watch the Olympics at the same time. Do you all have a favorite event? I'm really into the swimming cause I used do competative swimming when I was younger. And I love watching the gymnastics (womens) cause in my younger and slimmer days I was pretty good at all of that too. But got hurt on the Swedish box, which is now the pummel horse and so got scared and gave up. I also enjoy the whitewater events. Guess all the water events comes from growing up by the ocean.
Anyway, I just wanted to write and say how exvited I am getting about seeing everyone at the reunion as the time draws nearer and nearer. It's hard to believe that a month from now Bob and I will be packing everything to start loading and leaving. We are taking a few days going down to do a little bit of sightseeing and then a longer time coming home. Raleigh is not driving down with us but will fly down later in the week and join us on the trip home.
If any of you crafty ladies have any 'fabric' ink * * * amd are willing to share them please bring them. I recently checked all of mine as I hadn't used them in a while and so many of them were dried out so I'll have to replace them before I go. Also it's really hard to know how many we will need. I plan on purchasing a few (like 4 or 5 ) extra red and black. But please when you think about what you are going to do, remember it doesn't have to be Blackhorse specific.
Well I guess that's it for now. If you haven't already sent in your registration PLEASE do so NOW. I;m sure many of you have made the hotel reservation but remember for any of you that are new, the reunion registration is compleatly different.
