Thank God I misunderstood your venting. Obviously I took it the wrong way. Now I have to apologize to Rick for my own venting. I can be bad tempered at times, so every once in a while I have to eat crow. Anyway, threw that worry away, so all is good in Sarah land again.
By the way, did you get the package I sent you? Do we have enough yet? 'cause I do have a lot more. Just let me know. Sarah

Just thought I'd say thanks to everyone who has helped me get these packages done. Also wanted to let you know that I have started making very small Easter baskets to send 2 weeks before Easter. They will make (I hope more than a few)people laugh. They have already made me smile, so everyone else can smile with me! Happy Days to all!

You're not going to believe this one. I need the address for the Angel Boxes again. Rick is in Germany and took my briefcase by mistake. And all of my addresses, names, phone #'s etc. in it. I have one ready to go, but need the address again. Sorry, I know it's a pain, but he's gone for 21 days and That is about when I send the next one, so any help is appreciate it.

The men want us to do what!?? Why in the you know what would anyone want us to disband? We may not have all served, but every one of us has put in time either in or in support of our men in the military. Sorry, very raw nerve. Well Barb, you can tell them I said stick it. I'm not always polite when people act or say stupid things. My opinion is that we are a necessary part of Blackhorse and should stay that way. Otherwise, the only thing we'd have to do is shop. So my husband is with us all the way. He knows how I shop and anything that keeps me out of malls is all good with him.
Oh by the way, did you get my receipies? I sent a bunch. Just let me know thanks. Sarah

What are you talking about. We are not disbanding!!! Nor to the best of my knowledge has it ever been suggested. I would really like to know who told you this.
If you are refering to my 'venting' piece a few days ago, that is not what was meant.
It has been suggested that we 'rethink' our plans simply because they feel that many woman would rather go with their men rather than as the womens group. And they wouldn;t therefore want to go twice. and if we went on Friday than the entire organization could participate. but as I see it we have had this planned and been talking about it for a full year that we are going to go ahead with our saturday plans.
so relax we will be fine.

Hi to everyone,
Just to let you all know that I have sent out 5 Angel boxes to date. I did cheat on one and send it to my niece in Afganistan. All the others have bee sen t to the Angel box Centers. My 'puter has been down so I haven't been able to keep up. Any I got a check from one person whose info my darling husband accidently threw away. So if I don't accknowledge you personally, that's why. I recieved a box of liquids to send and I have added a few things mostly for fun. In this package I sent puzzle books, cookies, candy, and a few other things that are just for off time relaxation. So don't think we have forgotten out project. It was just smaller than we thought.

Well, ladies it looks like we will be taking the first choice of tours. the one hour. We do not have near enough to do the brunch cruise.
In fact the board would like us not to do either one. They feel it should be left either to them or they feel that ladies attending that weekend would rather go with their men. And that we should rethink our idea. What do you think?
We will be having a regular meeting either on Friday afternoon or eve. So be sure to check your schedule when you check in.
Right now I am just furious that they even suggested we rethink our plans. and then they had the gall to say, by the way what do those cruises cost? well why can't they find out for themselves, we did.
Sorry if I seem like I'm taking it out on all of you but I just had to explode. This is the second time they have wanted to take 'claim' to something we have done. The first was the Veterans Seminar. We brought the VA in when we were in Buffalo to take with our group. They next year - "they" had a great idea. let's do a VA seminar. And since then have laid claim to it.
Oh well I guess that's just their way. Time to take a deep breath and go on with my day.

THERE ARE ONLY 165 DAYS UNTIL REUNION. IF YOUR MAN HAS NOT MAILED IN HIS REGISTRATION, PLEASE ENCOURAGE HIM TO DO SO NOW. IT'S BETTER TO SEND IT IN NOW AND THEN IF YOU FIND OUT YOU CAN'T GO, YOU CAN CANCEL. SO MANY TIMES PEOPLE WAIT AND THEN GET HAVE TO GET RESERVATIONS AT THE 'OVERFLOW' HOTEL. AND THAT'S NO FUN :( . SO START BUGGING HIM ABOUT IT.
ALSO, LET ME KNOW BY THE 1ST OF APRIL WHICH CRUISE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. THE ONE THAT INCLUDES THE BRUNCH, CRUISE ONLY OR EVEN NONE.

UP DATE ON THE WOMEN'S CRUISE.

AS OF TODAY, 2 MARCH, WE ONLY HAVE 13 PEOPLE WANTING THE BRUNCH CRUISE, REMEMBER WE MUST HAVE 90 PEOPLE REGISTERED BY THE BEGINNING OF APRIL TO TAKE THIS TRIP. THE COST WILL BE $38.00. NOT BAD CONSIDERING YOU GET A GREAT MEAL.
