Comments: Barb, I also need to get in touch with Cookie so we can coordinate our thoughts and actions. If for some reason, anyone gets my voicemail, please speak clearly and repeat phone # or e-mail address. My phone doesn't always speak loud enough for me and I might need a repeat. Thanks a bunch. Sarah
Admin reply: Hi So glad to hear from you. I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Please accept my condolemces. I know how hard it is to get back into the swing of things. I was a basket case when my father passed away. We were in Europe and the last time I saw him was at the airport as I left and he said to me - I'm going to bring your mom over to see you. Of course then it became my responsiblity. Anyway, I will call you soon so we can talk. Right now I am nursing a sore back. It went snap as I stood up to get out of the tub this AM and I have spent the day being sore and bent over. Tonigh before bed it's gonna be a HOT shower for me./ In the meantime remember that I and God love you. Remember all the wonderful memories she gave you. Love Ya Barb

Comments: Dear Barbara, Please forgive my not being in touch sooner, but my mothers cancer progressed much quicker than origionally thought. We lost the battle October 16, 2010. It has taken me longer than expected to recover from her death. We were very close and I am getting back into the world. But, I am back, a little sadder, but more than ready to get back to work on the care packages. One of the advantages to living on the beach, I also have 9 military posts' within 50 miles of me. In paticular, Fort Story which is less than 5 miles. I may have jumped ahead a bit, But I have made an app. to the the Post Command Center in an effort to not only to get the message out that we want to become Living Angels to our active duty females, a bit more hands on approach. Please call me at (757)228-0481 so we can speak. I've lost all my info, so please call. I want all my ducks in a row. Thanks, Sarah Belcher

Comments: Ladies, I forgot to add in the last messege that I am on a new computer. Unfortunatly my laptop landed on the floor hard yesterday when my computer table broke and collapsed. When it 'died' I lost EVERYTHING that I had in it. So I now have no one's e-mail address'. PLEASE send them to me. Anyone who has anything about the ladies meeting they think I may need please send that too. I am devistated about this, but as my darling husband said, Hey, things happen. After I got done crying my eyes out, he took me out and bought me this new one. Of course he made sure I knew that it was my Christmas present (that and my new Rachael Ray cookware). So now it's time being spent trying to find all my notes and put them back into a file and reloading all my games. So help me out ladies. Love you all Barb

Comments: Angels boxes I assume are going VERY slowly (if at all). I have not heard from anyone about them, not even the two ladies who are doing the collecting. And this really upsets me as everyone at our meetings agree to these projects and then no one does anything about them. Ladies we really do need to work on these things. They are important. If you don't want to do anything then we can always go back to the old way the meeting were done. Remember? Everyone just sat around and complained and questioned why there spouses are the way they are. NOT FUN!!! This is our unit too and we should show the guys that we care about them and our present day soldiers. We still need lots of recipes too! Send them to me now! Bsrb.

Comments: My thoughts & prayers to Bonnie Llewellen. Hope she has a full recovery soon. God bless.
Comments: Ladies, Not sure how many of you are actually reading our site but if you are I wanted to pass this information on to you. One of our ladies needs our prayers and if you aren't too busy perhaps send her a card or a note, Bonnie Lewellen had a siezure in the right side of her brain on Sept 29th. She had previously had a tumor removed from there back in Feb. While in the hospital a blood vessel burst in the left side of the brain causoing a stroke. She then drifted in and out of consciousness until Oct 17th. Doctors are now projecting a good recovery with no permanent damage to the brian. Let's rally around her and send her our love. Her address is: Bonnie Lewellen 34088 Nutmeg RD Slater, MO 65349-2105
