Ladies,
As of today (sunday the 27th) we have 9 registered for the brunch cruise and 1 for the one hour cruise.
We MUST have 90 people (ladies, and guests as in children and visiting guys ) to do the brunch cruise. I MUST know by the beginning of April so reservations can be made. Cost are looking pretty good - about $25 for the brunch and $15-20 for just a cruise.
So let me know ASAP!!!!

FYI. There are no copyrights of any kind being broken with any of the recipes I'm sending you. They all are recipes that were donated to our church, mostly by the 10 of us who put it together. A lot of these recipes have been in these families for generations and traveled a long way to get here.
You didn't ask for helpful hints, shortcuts, terms used, weights, measures, and tips that give even "little chefs" help and information. Plus some of them are just plain fun to do. Anyway, I thought they may be useful so I added them so you could use them if you want.
I didn't get the letter in time for my first 2 pkgs., but it will be in all the rest. I feel kinda weird just stopping the care packages in June. I guess I just assumed (yeah, I know) it was forever. I don't know. Anyway, hope my info was useful.

Oh, yeah, here is my new e-mail address. Forgot to tell you, my aol has been mad at me and not giving me mail, so I go for soft revenge.
I have mailed out 2 Angel packages. No one has contacted me so I just do them on my own. I will mail out at least one pkg. a month. So, noone has contacted me, but I really think this is too important just to give up on. Have faith, sometimes life gets in the way of everyone being able to do some things with us, but I'd bet anything we are in their prayers. Don't give up on us yet. Still to much to do.
Did you get my note on the boat? I'll do either one, but I'd like food too. So what ever you decide is ok with me.
I have a LOT (and I mean a LOT) of recipes I have copied from a cookbook my church did, and family recipes. I need a physical address to send them to. With my arthritis, there is no way I could e-mail them. Typing them all out would kill me. There are already in a manilla envelope, just waiting for an address, so if you have one I'll mail them this week.
Gotta run, will check for answers every day.

thanks for all you are doing. we will continue our Angel project until June then something else for next year. Are you enclosing a copy of the letter I sent you with them? If not please do.
As of right now I have only heard from 4 ladies about the boat trip so it looks like we will just do the cruise.
there is a snack bar on board that sells hot dogs and sandwiches. So I guess we won't starve.

Hey everybody, what's going on? It sure seems like nobody but me ever uses this site. Maybe we should just go ahead and shut down. I'm really starting to feel some frustration about this group. Maybe it's outgrown it's purpose. Everyone says they want it and say they want to do things but no one ever follows through.

I know alot of you are still shoveling out from Old Man Winter but this would be a good time to send me an e-mail and give me your thoughts about the boat trip in St. Louis.
Do you want to go on just a cruise or do you want to do the lunch cruise.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW. It is crucial that I know before I go to St Louis in April. As that is when I will be making the reservation. At this point I have only heard from 4 people and that is certainly not enough to warrant this trip happening.

If you want to just do a check make it out to Blackhorse Ladies and send it to me as I will be send one large check to them from the group along with some boxes we have.
