Comments: My father Julio G Flores served under the 11 cav back in 1969-70. He passed away back in 2003 and left my brothers and I wondering what he experience with his unit. I served with the 5/14 marines artillery in Iraq. I would enjoy to meet any brother in arms that my father served with. Any help would be appreciated. I would plan a trip for this years reunion also. Thank you.

Comments: I’m hoping my Blackhorse friends (especially H Co. vets) can help. At the month of December in the new 2013 11th ACVVC calendar is a picture of H Co. troopers, either 1st or 3rd platoon, and I want to find out who the other men are. I think the picture was taken approx. April 1968 or a bit earlier. The platoon sergeant at the far left (with * * * in shirt pocket) is my dad, Psgt. Glenn Nicholson. He was KIA on May 5, 1968. If you recognize any of the others, please contact me at: Phone: 316-558-5509 or e-mail: jadietz@cox.net ...Thanks...Judith (Nicholson) Dietz...

Comments: This message is to members of the 1st Platoon 3rd Sqdn. 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. To those of us who served with the 1st Platoon under Former Lt. Locklin... we have lost a fellow Trooper who was loved by his men. Lt Locklin was a fair man without biases, He led by example and respect. During the hardest times around christmas,Lt Locklin would share a cup of chocolate with his men anytime. Provided we were not being bothered by unfriendly people. We will always remember Lt Locklin . A Trooper. a Father and Grandfather. Our thoughts and prayers are with Doris and all her family. Luis Cirilohttp://www.11thcav.com/visitors/gbook.php?a=sign#
