Comments: Just wondering how long it takes from the time you receive our reunion registration until it is actually posted onto the website as attending. I sent in our registration over 3 weeks ago & it still hasn't been added so wondered if you had received it. It might still be riding around in the back of a postal truck somewhere or vacationing in the back of some post office in a bag to be found in 2 or 3 years. The registration is for Gus, Sharron & Lesley Christian---E troop. Thanks, Sharron & Gus Christian
Admin reply: recieved today. on listing ASAP

Comments: My brother, Sergeant Robert I. Meeker, was KIA on Feb. 18, 1969 (L TRP, 3RD SQDN, 11TH ARMORED CAVALRY). I was 11 years old at the time (now 55). I am wondering if any of his fellow soldiers can share details of the circumstances of his fatality. Of course, we have the official account from the Army, but I've been told many of those during the Vietnam War were inaccurate or simply fabricated. I hope that's not the case. Bobby received the Silver Star posthumously, so I am very interested in the actions he took to qualify for that honor. I'm also interested in any recollections any soldiers who knew him may have of him as a person and leader. Bobby was a troubled guy who found some sense of direction in the Army. I have no doubt he would've been a lifer in the service if he had lived. I'd be grateful for any info people can share. Thanks to all the heroes of the 11th Cav.

Comments: I'm trying to locate the daughter or widow (her name is Leslie A. Hays)of Captain John H. Hays (KIA 11/68) of B Troop. I know that they used to live in Winter Haven, FL. Also, I think the daughter had posted on the guestbook about 8 years ago, but I can't be sure about that. Does anybody have any info on/about them? Please let me know. Thanks.

Comments: I seem to recall a 'Doc Taylor' from the 70-71 time period. Were you with us to see Bob Hope at Long Binh (Christmas show IIRC)?
Has anyone been back to see what became of those places? Tan Uyen is supposed to be a major river port/industrial estate.
