Comments: I served from Nov. 68-69, with the 919th Eng. I drove E-2-2 and I was the one who gave the track it's name (HEAD HUNTERS). I rode with Patton thru the rubber plantations, all over Tay Ningh Provance and on into Cambodia were we got B-52ed once we got there. Also if I remember right, The 1st Inf. flew in about 80-100 troops and we pushed jungle for 3 to 4 days and they would get the KI count and they would fly off and a day or 2 later the 25th Inf flew in with about the same amount of troops and we pushed jungle for 3-4 days and off they go and finally the 101st come in, same results. But I believe Patraus (spelling) was in command of the 101st and was there at that time. My memory is getting bad, so does any body remember any of this? If so please E-mail at address. THANK YOU!

Comments: I would like to state my gratitude to Allen Hathaway for his efforts on my behalf. I appreciate the list of names from G-Troop when I was there. I also spent 6 months in 37th Med if it wouldn't be to much trouble, could I get a list from April to August 1969? I have no real information on the names Shorty and Lewis except that they were on track 36 along with ( Sult ), the driver and Lt. Paul Gruber the Platoon Leader. As the Senior Aidman in G-Troop I was in more than 1 platoon and knew everyone by there nick names? Sorry. Alvin (Doc.) Ball
