Barb M. So you are saying that if we do not go to the reunion we are second hand and don't count. I though that this Assoc belong to all Troopers!!!!

Admin reply: Excuse me? I never said anyone was second hand. I too am an military member and am very proud of my service and that of my spouse.
I simply was letting folks know that we only have ordered 400 of these books and that they are to be sold at the reunion. If we have any left we will happily mail them to folks who want them at the same price plus a fee for shipping.
We only ordered 400 because we have no where to store any that may be left over. If possible we will order more but that will depend on how many additional request we have as the company we ordered them from has a minimum amount that we can reorder for.
I'm truely sorry that you feel we are treating you as inferior but that was not and is not the case. If you want to order a book and cannot attend the reunion, we will be happy to place your name on our list of folks to contact after the reunion in the event we have any left.
Thank you for your service

I'm looking for anyone who was on Track G-21 in mid Dec. 1968, when we ran over a land mine.
I'm Alvin ( Doc.) Ball and I was there but my memory is very foggy. I'm having recurring nightmares of the event and don't remember if I was on the track or not?
It wasn't a really big mine. We unloaded all of the ammo etc. and blew them up in my dream?
Sure could use some help on this. I was in G-Troop from late August or Early Sept. 68 until March of 1969 I think.
My memory is very foggy. I traveled between 2nd and 3rd platoon a lot. Was originally assigned to 3rd. platoon with Lt. Paul Gruber, Shorty, Lewis and our driver was Sult. That's all I remember.

We have been recieving many request for advance orders and shipping of our new cookbook. I would like to again reinforce the fact that WE WILL NOT be taking advance orders. Also we will NOT mail any books until AFTER the reunion and can see what if any we have left.
We are making them available to reunion ATTENDIES first. If you cannot be there than you may contact Kathy Tandberg and let her know and your name will be placed on a list of folks to contact after I return home which will be about 2 weeks after reunion.
All books at the reunion will sell for $15 and we will accept CASH (perferred) or check. If there are any left after reunion they will be $15 each PLUS $5 PER BOOK for shipping.

Anyone out there can help? Look me up here under "find a friend" and email me please...

Marianne
When you mail in a registration it can take up to as much as 2 weeks before we get it. When you do it on line it can take as much as a couple of days before it comes through to us. After we get it we first have to double check everything and then if nothing is wrong we can make your name tag and packet. Next I turn them over to Bob who pits them on the web site as well as the rosters bor the board and the hotel staff.
This can take him a couple of nights as he works from 7am until ??? each day. (Very often I find him asleep at his computer in the evening.
So if you do not see it right away don't panic about it we do have it.
As far as the banquet dress code. It is not really formal nor is it casual. What I tell folks is dress VERY nice (you might show up in some of the pictures that go on the web site) but also be comfortable. It can get quite warm in the banquet hall with 1000 or more folks in there and Orlando in September can be quite muggy.
If I can help you with anything else you can always leave me a note on the Women's Corner on this web site or on face book under "Blackhorse Ladies"
