Comments: Did any of my fellow H Co. tankers know Melvin 'Joe' Hebert? He did 18 months in Vietnam during '67 and '68. A few pictures of him can be seen at: http://h-co.freehomepage.com/id17.htm . Melvin was killed in a car crash in 1975. I'm now in contact with his sister/family. If you would like to share anything about him, please contact me at: jkhien@att.net

Comments: TERRY: IF YOU FATHER IN LAW IS DRAWING A VA PENSION CHECK YOU CAN REQUEST A RESPIT FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS, THE VETERANS I HELPED WERE SENT TO THE LOCAL VA HOSPITAL FOR THAT TIME WHILE THE CARETAKER GOT A BREAK FOR A LITTLE WHILE. IF YOU HAVE NOT FILED A CLAIM FOR THE FATHER IN LAW FOR AID AND ATTENDENCE THEN YOU NEED TO DO THAT ALSO, THERE IS AN INCOME LIMIT BUT YOU ALSO GET TO DEDUCT ANY MEDICAL EXPENSES FROM THAT IMCOME. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU VISIT YOUR LOCAL VETERANS OFFICER IF YOUR COUNTY HAS ONE AND IF NOT THERE SHOULD BE SOME AT YOUR LOCAL VA HOSPITAL OR EVEN YOU LOCAL VETERANS ORG

Comments: To my friends in B Troop I which I could have made this reunion. There is not a day I don't think of you guys. The reason I could not attend is because my wife and I are caretakers of my 91 year old father in law who has alheimers and who is a army vet of WW II. We have had him under care for the past two years. Hoping to attend next year. ALLONS

Comments: Joe,
I in particular miss the phone calls we made every Friday and that slow Mississippi way Phil had of telling stories. I'll move it over to the forum. And Joe, thanks for weighing in. I do miss seeing you renegades at the reunion.
