With deepest regrets we announce the death of Fred Ropkey Jr., USMC, founder of Ropkey Armor Museum, Crawfordsville, Indiana, on November 7th, of bone cancer.

Fred was a greatly admired leader who spent a lifetime acquiring and sharing a love for military relics, especially armored and other vehicles. He acquired his first vehicle in 1944 at age 13, and following graduation from DePauw University, enlisted in the US Marine Corps.

Fred was always pleased to share his collection, especially with veterans. He was excited to have the 11thACVVC visit during the recent Indy reunion.

The Womens Group has not been disbanded. The group has a new Interim Coordinator, Kathy Tandberg.

The Funeral Honor Guard webpage has not been upated (until today) because (thankfully) I haven't been informed of any deaths.
