I was in the 1st Squadron, C-Troop and was wounded near Cu Chi on May 12th, 1968. Was anyone else in that battle?

Hi Gary,
I’m not sure if it’s covered or not. I would go to the neatest VA hospital and have them check it out. If they do cover it, you would have to make out a claim. Ask if there is Military Order of the Purple Heart office on location or another origination that can help you with the claim. This service is free to all veterans. If it’s covered you will also be entitled to receive compensation. Click the link below and it will bring you to the VA web site.
Good Luck

My wife and I are getting ready to sign up for the reunion but my wife, unlike me, is particular about what she eats. Does anyone know what type of beef they are serving and how that and the chicken will be prepared. It would be nice to know so we can make the right choices. Thanks for your help in advance. Frank :!wondering:

I am reaching out to anyone who may have been involved in a battle with me. Date was September 7, 1969 near An Loc in a rubber plantation. It was where Lt. Fox and SFC Thomas were wounded. Lt. Fox was rescued to my Acav. Need information concerning Thomas.
The med vac was coming in and shot down. The two pilots were rescued and placed in my Acav.
CPT. Firestone was the commander of M company.
I visited with him on the phone today, 48 years, of course he doesn't remember me, but he remembers that day. He would not help me in any way in a personal matter that I have proposed with him.
I am filling a claim against the VA and turning in tons of paperwork to help support my claim.
If you were there and remember Lt Fox getting hurt, please PM me so I can see if there are events that you may add.
I also am in touch with Fox and he is helping me too.

Please go to 919th combat engineers Facebook Page where you will see photos that I included in my post.
