Comments: Regarding: Tom Fitzpatrick B Troop 1/11 KIA April 18th 69 I'm Tommy's cousin. I was trying to find out what went down the day he was KIA in April of 1969. I got a rough idea of what may of happened at one of your reunions I attended in Orlando several years ago. The story was fuzzy so I thought I'd reach out here and see if I could get any more info. I know he was a gunner/spotter on an APC and died of multiple fragmentation wounds from perhaps an RPG or recoilless rifle. Not positive. Any help would be appreciated. Mike Finnegan Combat Engineer, VN service 3-69 to 2-70. Central Highlands. Welcome Home.
