Comments: Guys,
I writing you in hopes that someone can help me contact my TC. Here is some background information. I was assigned by the 37th Medical Company at Blackhorse to HHT 2/11 around 17th of May 1969. The following day I was attached to G Trp., 2/11 a first platoon medic. On June 7th. our platoon was involved in a day long fire-fight with an NVA company dug in at an abandoned village south of An Loc. Our commanding officer Claude Hudson was awarded the DSC for his actions that day along with a E-6 TC. I believe my track was 1.3. Our senior medic that day was Olin Parks. We made our way back to Quan Loi with most of our 50 cals out of operation. I remember the next day chaplains were chopper in for services, we lost 2 or 3 troopers that day.
Shortly after that we were ordered to travel to Loc Ninh to relieve troops that were in heavy contact with the NVA/VC. As we were mounting up our lieutenant came by and order me to report to the airfield. Due to Red Cross intervention I was being order back to the States due to a medical emergency my pregnant wife was having. That temporary leave was changed to a compassionate reassignment to Selfridge AF base which was close to our home. I finished out my last 6 months at Selfridge. The TC and I exchanged a few letters after that I no longer have. I would really like to find him if he is still living and tell him how important those letters were to me.

Comments: Looking for anyone who served with John Patrick Shannon Jr./ Doc Shannon , HHT 3/11 medic attached to K Trp 3/11, severed Jan 69 – KIA Sep 69. 707 981-7979
Comments: I don't know the specs of his service, but my grandfather Ronald Hill served in the 11th from late 1967-April 1968, where he was seriously wounded in combat. He always talked about being in Long Binh, and that there was a Goodyear plant in the area. He passed away in 2014; I was very close with him, but I want to find out more about him and the unit he was in.
My e-mail is: zthill@bulldogs.barton.edu. IF anybody knows anything about my grandfather, I'd love to hear about it.

Comments: I have in my possession a very detailed scrapbook for a Donald E. Walters Jr.PFc that I would love to get back to a family member. He was from Des Plaines Illinois. He died in Viet Nam May 22 of 1967. He was at Ft. Campbell Dec. 66 and from there went to Ft. Knox Jan 67. I believe he was from Company D 1st Squadron 11th Armored Cavalry. If anyone can help me locate any living relatives to give this to I would really appreciate it.
