My dad was SFC Hobert M. Parker. He served in Vietnam from April 1968 to October 1968. After he passed away in 1995 I was in contact with Ron Brundage who sent me a copy of the Thunder Run. Ron was going to pursue along with Ollie Pickral and Eric Newton the idea of creating some type of memoir for my dad's gravestone and possibly send me the 11th ACR challenge coin.

I recently found some papers from my dad's military service. One in particular is several pages of over 100 names from the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment during the "MAU THAN" Tet Offensive at Bien Hoa from 31 Jan to 14 Feb 63. Each name has a brief description of their actions. It has an original signature of R.L. Boles, 1LT, AGC. with reference to the bronze star medal.

If anyone knows more information about this or remembers my dad I would love to hear from you.

Sincerely,
Lori L. Parker

Just wanted to let everyone know that Salem Jamell had a severe stroke just a few days after the reunion. As far as we know he is being transferred from the Va. hospital in Iowa to a Rehabilitation center in Chicago. He will be there a while. He is able to talk so phone calls would be appreciated. I will keep you posted as info comes to us. Say a prayer.
