To the 11th armored Calvary regiment.
My father served with the 1/11 c troop in 68,69,70 and was proud of his service. Unfortunately he has passed on and is at Fiddlers Green having a drink at the canteen. I have met one man already who served with my pops(Chuck Fessano) who extended a hand in friendship by just sending me picks And telling me about my pops. I am looking for some of his buddies from that time in his life so I can know more about him. So if you did serve with him any memories you have of him or pictures you could post to my page would help. I lost my pops 1950-1/9/2014 and am tryin to get some closure I would be in your debt. I am just trying to get to now more about him and his service with you brave men and women .I am proud to know that the served with the11th ACR! He rode in a m113 and a Sheridan not sur which one said Jennys prayer but that tidbit of info might help
Thank you for your service and thank you for taking time to read this! I am proud to have. Been borne to a blackhorse soldier
Thank you for any info that you may have
Sincerely Lawrence p Greene Jr. ALLONS!!!! To you all
Thank you

Just to let everyone know I have submitted my latest book project to Hellgate Press who will be publishing "VOL 2, U.S. Army Helicopter Names In Vietnam". Should be ready for the VHCMA reunion in June. Features 600 new helicopter names. However, new NAMES can still be added right up until the final edit. Quality in-country nose art photos are welcomed as always. Happy New Year everyone.

Let us never forget the sacrifices made by our troops during their tour of duty in Nam! May the peace of God be with all of you and let us pray for the protection of all those serving on active duty throughout the world.

My husband received a gift with the blackhorse emblem the horse is facing right instead of left. Does anyone know if this is an error on the part of the manufactured or does it have some significant meaning

Some of you may recall that I asked you to e-mail a message of encouragement to my wife's aunt, Julie, when she had a stoke several years ago. Approx.200 messages were sent and Julie's family was very grateful. Julie and her husband are in my heart. They love unconditionally and understood the Vietnam combat experience. Well, Julie passed away and will be laid to rest Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014. If you'd like to add a comment, copy/paste the below website.

my friend & neighbor Dennis Hoponick was with 11th Cavalry in Vietnam. I dont kmow much about his service, but wanted to know if anyone on here knew him or may have served with him. Would also like to find out what battles or actions he was involved with and if he was in a particluar company or group of 11th Cavalry. I am an amateur military historian & may interview him. Thanks & thanks to all of you for your service. It is appreciated & will be remembered.

I came across this site after looking something up for my Dad. His name is James "Jim" Lawson. He served from 69'-70' I-troop in an APC, Vietnam. I hope he attends the reunion in GA next year!
