Into your search engine type campgrounds located near St Louis Mo . There are about 14 listed. The nearest one to the reunion site is 1.1 mile away. Ad appears to look very nice and rates are reasonable.

From IL 55S or IL 70W take 270W to Exit 3A. From IL 64W or MO 55N take 255N to 270W to Exit 3A. From MO 44E or MO 64E or MO 70E, take 270N to Exit 3A in Illinois. From Exit 3A turn left at the stoplights. Then go 1/2 mile on W Chain of Rocks Road.

It is't very far from the reunion site it says about 15 min.from river front. I don't think it is too bad of area.

The website said the only RV park down town. Don't know what the area would be like. Also I know that there is a park at Pere Marquette State Park at Grafton Il. about 30-45 minutes away.

JUST HAD A CALL FROM A TROOPER WHO IS ATTENDING THE ST LOUIS REUNION AND HE WANTED TO KNOW IF THERE WERE ANY CAMP GROUNDS IN THE AREA. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE SOME STATE CAMPGROUNDS IN ST LOUIS COUNTY BUT DONT KNOW OF ANYTHING ELSE

Admin reply: He'll like Fort Benning. Bob and I were stationed there the year that Raleigh was born. It's really nice. If I remember right there was a lot to do on post there.

PLEASE READ AND HELP THE FAMILY OF ONE OF OUR KIA’S....Since 2009 Judy Dietz, the daughter of PSgt Glenn Nicholson (H Co...KIA 5/5/68) has been working to get the state of Kansas to provide ‘Gold Star Family’ license plates for the families of those killed in action from WWI to the present. The ‘Gold Star Family’ plates differ from ‘Gold Star Mother’ plates in that ‘Gold Star Mother’ plates are issued only to women who lost sons. At this time, the Kansas legislators are just dragging their feet. Her’s what I’m asking:

Enter the words Gold Star and do a search
When the petition comes up, you’ll see a picture of PSgt Glenn Nicholson.
Please sign the petition.
