All Medics that served with the 11th Cav in Nam.We would like to make a request of you. Come over to the Medics page and leave your name, dates ,and troops.Even if you just leave it in the guest book.If you want we can even put it over in the other part if you have a picture and or email.The 11th Cav gets request a lot from members needing help from the medics. Whether for VA or records corrections. We help them than lets help them now. It will give them a place to search.We have some request from members now. I apprecate those who already have done it.With the VA sometimes all it takes is a letter from the Doc who treated them. I have help before. So I know it helps. We are not getting any younger.Thanks Doc Taylor

DONOT SCALP me!!!! only a ??? Why do we not get together with the 11th CAV> Association, many of us TROoPERS are a member of both. This is a Waste of monies and resourse, in my humble opinion!!!! WHERE does the 11th armored Cavalry Regiment MONIES GO after we are GONE!!!!! ( vietman and cam.Vets?) TIME TO BURY THE HATCHET and move along. FIDDLERS GREEN does not care what ORG. YOU BELONG TO JUST THAT YOU BELONG!!!! TIME FOR US TO THINK ABOUT THIS!!!!

Barnes & Noble, at www.barnesandnoble.com is pre-selling the hardback book "Blackhorse Riders". The full selling price will be $26.99, however you can pre-order the book for $18.21. Note: they are not showing that they will have the book to ship until 14 Feb 2012. You just need to go to their web site and type in Blackhorse Riders, and it will come up as no picture available, but all the other information will be there. I just wanted to let all 11th ACR troopers, familes and friends to know. Allons!

We have been contacted by a procuction company that is putting together a film with the West Point Center for Oral History about the West Point Class of 1967.
One member of the class, Tom White, served in Vietnan with Air Cav Troop, K Troop and M Company. Later on in life he became Secretary of the Army.
They are looking for photos of Tom White in uniform in Vietnam. If you have any photos of him please contact Daniel Sugarman at: d.sugarman@thedocumentarygroup.com

I am looking for anyone in "H Co." that remembers dragging "Li'l Helper (M578) back to camp after it hit a mine leaving Cambodia. It happened on July 6, 1970. There was a Captain with you guys. We were close to base, because I remember the Colonels helicoter pilot saying they had just landed when he heard the explosion and went back in the air to check us out. They use to call me "Melo" I was with maintenance.
